Mission

AESEG represents the interests of its members before public or private local, regional, national and international authorities. One of the foundational objectives of AESEG is to establish an industrial discipline that helps its members to comply with the deontological and health rules.

The following are some of the purposes that figure in the Statutes of AESEG:

  • To encourage a true generic culture in the Spanish society and within the Public Administration.

  • To foster an awareness and use of the generic medicines in Spain.

  • To cooperate with the authorities in the study, the elaboration and the practice of the rules related to the generics.

  • To maintain contact with other similar organisations with the aim of developing a mutual collaboration and exchanging experiences and information in those issues that come to benefit the Association and its members.

  • To represent all the affiliates in the defense and promotion of their in common interests.

  • To develop the necessary industry discipline to comply with the ethical, professional and health rules to which the members have comitted.
