Un 80% de los españoles confía ya en los medicamentos genéricos

Más de la mitad de los españoles elegiría un genérico en caso de tener que pedir un medicamento en la farmacia y recomendaría estos fármacos a otros pacientes y familiares

Madrid, 22 de marzo de 2012.- La Asociación Española de Medicamentos Genéricos (AESEG) ha presentado hoy en rueda de prensa el Estudio de Conocimiento, Uso y Evaluación de los Medicamentos Genéricos elaborado por la empresa líder en investigación de mercados Metroscopia. Según los resultados del informe, un 80% de los españoles confía ya en los medicamentos genéricos y un 92% de la población conoce o ha oído hablar alguna vez de los mismos. Esto supone un incremento en 15 puntos porcentuales con respecto a 2008 y de 35 puntos con respecto al año 2000. Además, un 53% de la población española elegiría un genérico en caso de tener que pedir un medicamento recetado por principio activo en la farmacia y recomendaría estos fármacos a otros pacientes y familiares.
